
Marta Wołowiec
choreographer, dancer
Dancer, choreographer, dance educator, culture manager. She comes from Wrocław area and has been living in Kraków for over 10 years.
She is a manager of Krakow Choreographic Center located in Nowa Huta Cultural Center. She has co-created the Center since its inception (2014), and since the end of 2018 she has taken the manager role. Here, she creates her own performances, teaches and organizes dance events. In 2015-2019, together with Agata Moląg and Monika Węgrzynowicz, she was artistically active as part of the Grupa Wokół Centrum collective. She is a co-author and performer in productions combining movement, multimedia and music: “Naturgemälde”, “Spectral layers of movement” and “Wyspiański women”. As a dancer, she performs in Iwona Olszowska and Ferenc Feher’s “Trans_Miss (i) on”. Choreographer and performer of two solo performances: “Hold on” and “Tens” with electronic music created live. The performance “Tens”, before its official live premiere, was filmed with a mastershot and presented online as part of the National Cultural Center program “Culture in the network”.
