Musician and video maker with passion for documentaries.
Initiator of a music band Bob Maghrib in Morocco. Played in many international projects like Casser le mur (Morocco/Spain), Music Matbakh (UK/North Africa/Middle East), Orchestre des villes (Morocco/France/Italy). He is also a lead singer of The Afronauts – polish afrobeat band. He sings and plays different traditional moroccan instruments.
As a film editor he worked with Ali Essafi on his experimental film “Wanted” and “Casablanca in red”, a documentary about taxi drivers in Casablanca, his home city. He collaborated also with Hind Bensari on her Hotdocs awarded film «We could be heroes».
At present he is editing his first feature-length documentary about contemporary musical scene in Morocco, which has started over fifteen years ago.
