Barbara Bujakowska

Dancer, performer, independent artist, dance teacher; graduate of the Institut for Dance Art / Anton Bruckner Universitat (Linz) and P.F.P at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD).
Winner of the First Prize in the TVP2 competition “Creative Valley” for the solo performance “Swan … .like”. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Arts Station Foundation (Solo Projekt, Alternatywna Akademia Tańca). For many years she has been conducting dance classes, collaborating with other artists and creating her own works on the border of theater, performance and new media.
Her artistic work has already been featured twice at the Polish Dance Platform, and performances are invited to festivals both in Poland and abroad.
Last year, the performance “I am love I”, created with the playwrighter Daria Kubisiak, received the “Distinction for creative research” at the national competition of independent theaters “OFTEN” and passed to the finals of the competition “The best OFF”.
Currently, Barbara Bujakowska is considered by critics to be one of the most talented artists in the community.
